- Are there deadlines in your courses? Yes, but all deadlines are clearly indicated on the first day of the semester. Students are encouraged to print the Master Calendar and post it over their desk, in a planner, or anywhere that it might remind you of upcoming deadlines. Additionally, I send out a weekly reminder of upcoming assignments and quizzes. The Canvas course page has an interactive calendar that links to all assignments, quizzes, and study guides. We welcome early submissions anytime before the deadline.
- Do you have a late submission penalty? Yes. Submissions received after the deadline will receive a 10% deduction for each day or portion of day or portion of day late. No submission will be accepted that is more than 7 days past the due date. No late submissions will be accepted during the last month of the semester in order to ensure all assignments are graded prior to the grades submission deadline.
