MOOCs I have known!

Massive Open Online Courses have become increasingly popular since they were first introduced. Part of the allure of MOOCs is their free admission although some MOOCs are now offering a certificate or similar recognition for a fee. The increasing cost of tuition for higher education and the current job market has played a significant role in the demand for MOOC programs. Many have suggested that MOOCs will revolutionize education and others have been critical of the rapid growth with little oversight. As an online instructor, I have decided to explore several MOOCs in an effort to better understand the nature and procedures employed in the delivery of these online programs by a variety of providers. Fortunately, my experience to date have found that there is much to be learned from the networking that results when you participate in these courses. The following are the courses that I have participated in and some of the activities and observations that have resulted from these collaborations:
